At Thomas, Carroll we understand that it is when a claim or incident occurs that you need us most. For that reason that we have invested in an experienced team, under the expert guidance of Claims Manager, John Wright.

We are able to discuss the incident with you and give advice as to what will be required by your Insurers and offer any other assistance you may require.

It is a fundamental condition of all insurance policies that any incident that might give rise to a claim is reported to the insurer as soon as reasonably possible. This includes incidents where you may not feel you are responsible.

During business hours you can call our claims team. Out of hours, many Insurers have telephone help-lines, details of which are given within your policy document or alternatively can be found within Insurer Helplines. Should you have to call the insurer direct, it is important that you also advise us at the next opportunity, so we can protect your interests during the life of the claim.

The Claim Forms page displays five forms requesting most of the information that an insurer will require when considering a claim against your policy. These forms are expressly for Motor, Property, Travel, Public Liability and Employers Liability claims. Should you be contacting the insurers directly out of hours, it is suggested that you complete the form before contacting them. This will ensure that the amount of time reporting the incident will be minimised.

Most insurers have approved repairers and suppliers. It is therefore suggested that you talk to Thomas Carroll or your insurers before spending time attempting to obtain estimates yourself. You are, of course, permitted to carry-out any reasonable temporary repairs that will safeguard your property from any further damage. As long as the incident is covered by your Insurance, insurers will consider reimbursement to you.
