John Moore chairs the Group and the divisional companies, he still takes an active interest around client work, recruitment and our strategic planning.

John's experience began with the General Accident insurer and joined Thomas, Carroll in 1980. He is past President of the CII in Cardiff; the Broker Regional Chairman for BIBA and he presently sits on the UK Faculty of Insurance Broker Board. All this vision and inspirational leadership is often directed from his striped, dozy cricket boundary deckchair!!

Rhys is Managing Director of Thomas, Carroll Brokers and has been with Thomas Carroll since 1993. Rhys is ACII qualified and has a degree in IT.

He is very passionate about TC continuing to succeed and remain as an independent, Welsh Company. Rhys specialises in all aspects of Commercial Insurance with a particular expertise in Property, Contracting and International Risks.

Brynmor Williams

Brynmor has been in the industry since 1985 and joined Thomas, Carroll in 2006. He is a Group Board Director and is primarily responsible for client relationship management and business development.

As well as enjoying many years experience in the commercial sector he is a former rugby international for Wales and the British Lions, bilingual Brynmor Williams has maintained a full-time career during and after his playing days, spending the first sixteen years as a manager in the building society sector.

He maintains his involvement in Rugby as a commentator and studio analyst for S4C, BBC and Real Radio and is well known in business and sporting events as an after-dinner speaker.

Simon has been in the Insurance industry since 1977. Five years with Hill House Hammond Insurance Brokers before Joining Thomas, Carroll Group plc in 1982.

Simon's role as Group Director concentrates on close working relationships with a much valued bank of clients. Simon specialises in all aspects of Commercial Insurance with a particular expertise in Contracting Trades.

Ray joined Thomas, Carroll in 1993 and manages the insurance accounts for many of Thomas, Carroll premier clients.

Ray has been involved in Insurance broking since 1971 and previous employment includes Provincial, London and National Brokers. Ray is a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London, being granted the Freedom of the City of London in 1994.

Social interests are now mainly sedentary, having previously enjoyed success at Rugby, Cricket, stock-car racing and offshore powerboat racing. Until recently, he also managed a rock band!

Alison is Managing Director of Thomas, Carroll Private Clients Ltd and is responsible for the overall growth and retention of our personal insurance broking division, including private clients.

Alison joined Thomas, Carroll in 2003 having spent 18 previous years within the insurance division of the HSBC Group. Her later years were spent managing the Premier Clients Division and personally having dealt with many of the banks most important international customers and executives.

Alison enjoys a vast array of hobbies including skiing, Golf and has taken on various challenges in order to support Thomas, Carroll's chosen charity, Ty Hafan, by completing Three Peaks and Taff Trail Challenge.

She has 24 years experience in the industry and specialises in compliance and employee benefits. Louise has a degree in Commerce and has completed the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.

Louise was awarded the Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society in 2000 and is a Chartered Financial Planner.

Kevin has over 15 years experience in the health and safety sector and considerable expertise in assisting organisations managing health and safety effectively, in a range of different industries in both the public and private sectors. Although he is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the overall performance of the business operation, he acts as Lead Consultant on a portfolio of clients.

Kevin is also responsible for the development of innovative risk management solutions and has extensive experience of working with insurers, including the preparation of Business Continuity Plans.

Richard joined Thomas, Carroll Management Services in 2006 and is responsible for business development.

Richard is a graduate of Cardiff University, Oxford University and the University of Glamorgan. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. He has extensive experience and expertise in providing a wide range of health and safety solutions within both the public and private sectors.

Richard previous role includes Managing Director of a National Health and Safety Consultancy.
