Welsh H&S Consultancy Wins Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Contract

Welsh Health and Safety Consultancy, Thomas, Carroll Management Services (TCMS) has won the contract to support the health and safety management services for the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.

The Health and Safety Consultancy arm of the Caerphilly based insurance to financial services Company - Thomas, Carroll Group plc has been appointed under a three-year contract by the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority. This is one of three National Parks in Wales. The Authority has the job of looking after the natural beauty of the Park - helping visitors to enjoy and understand it. It also has responsibility for the economic and social well-being of local people.

This appointment represents a further high profile success for the division, which has a client portfolio including The Wales Millennium Centre, The National Library of Wales, The National Botanic Garden of Wales and The Celtic Manor Resort.

Under the new contract, TCMS will be assisting the Authority in developing and implementing their health & safety management systems, based on HSG 65 and BS OHSAS 18001. In addition, the division will be further enhancing the health & safety culture within the Park by providing a wide range of training courses to the approximately 120 employees.
