Peter Martin joins Thomas, Carroll Group plc in commercial insurance role.

Thomas, Carroll Group plc, the Welsh Chartered risk management to financial services group, has appointed Peter Martin to the position of Account Executive at its Caerphilly headquarters.

Peter Martin, who has over twenty five years experience within the industry, joins Thomas, Carroll (Brokers) Ltd where he responsible for the insurance and risk management requirements of commercial clients throughout South East Wales.

Mr Martin joins Thomas, Carroll having left the Jelf Goup plc who bought out Brian D Thomas Insurance Services in 2006, where he had been employed since 1999.

Cardiff-born Peter Martin who is married with two children said "I am excited by the prospect of returning to truly independent insurance broking, looking after and further developing key Thomas, Carroll corporate clients in South Wales. When the opportunity to develop my career with a Chartered Insurance Broker that I have admired for many years, arrived, I was very keen to become involved."

This appointment is the latest to be made by Thomas, Carroll as it grows its account executive base both in Caerphilly and its new South West Wales headquarters in Swansea.
