Thomas, Carroll Group plc opens new West Wales Headquarters

Thomas, Carroll Group plc, the Welsh risk management and financial services group, has officially opened its new South West Wales Headquarters, with Chairman John Moore pledging continued investment in the region.
Speaking at the Group's new centre at Tawe Business Village, Robert Jones MBE, Regional Director said: "We have been present in Swansea since 2009, and we have now decided it was time to invest significantly in strengthening our South West Wales operations, recruiting local brokers and financial advisers, culminating in the official opening of our new headquarters in Swansea.
We now have grown a fully-fledged Group office in Swansea, reflecting all facets of our group-wide operations, from Chartered commercial and personal insurance, to health and safety and employment law, Chartered independent financial advice and property risk services."
John Moore, Chairman of Thomas Carroll Group, said "As a fiercely independent wholly Welsh Group, we are proud to be flying the flag for Wales in competition with UK operators. With WAG assistance we are investing in creating high potential new graduate jobs, building on our reputation for sustainable profitable growth".
In attendance at the launch event, Mike Hedges, AM for Swansea East said: "I am very pleased to see companies from the East of Wales in West Wales. It is great to have industries like this coming into Swansea, even during recession there are things that people always need and insurance is one of them."
According to the Chairman, the importance of sporting club links, business and the arts is being recognised in the region, together with charity work to give something back to the local community.
John Moore said: "Significant, high profile early client wins in this region included the South Wales Cricket Association, Ffos Las racecourse, Milford Haven Port Authority, Gravells, G D Harries & Sons, Swansea Building Society and the National Botanic Garden of Wales. It is encouraging that they have shown confidence in our new Swansea and West Wales business operation."
