The TC Runners Team reached 29th place in the Cardiff 10k race.

The Thomas, Carroll Team.

Our running team did Thomas, Carroll proud on Sunday 11th September after reaching 29th position out of 104 team entries at the annual Cardiff 10K run.

The team consisted of Michelle Dacey, Rachel Townsend, Phillip Coetsee, Bethan Jones, Mick Learoyd and Gwenllian Davies all of whom have run many races individually but came together as a team for the first time.

The day itself was glorious and luckily the sun was shining on Cardiff, and following a minute silence to remember the 10th anniversary of the 11/09/01 disaster, everyone was rearing to go.

The heat from the sun was a nice surprise and the cooling breeze amongst the trees was most welcomed. The run was a little tougher than what some of us had expected and most of the TC runners were very happy to see the 9km sign appear!

It was a great effort all round and moreover we raised over £500 for Kidney Foundation Wales.
